This is one of a series of Words by Heart, Books by Hand workshops happening at Rānui, Henderson, and Te Manawa Libraries. The finished books will be featured in a travelling exhibition—popping up across local libraries as a celebration of community creativity and story-making.

Each session stands alone—join one or come to all!

These workshops provide a space for participants to share and transform their stories into books, emphasising the power of our own story connected with place and community. One workshop at each library - Book for each workshop stand alone or can join all if wish.

Crafting a prompt journal with Japanese binding, participants will be inspired to create their own stories or drawings.
