Words Out West 2025
Event description
Words Out West takes a novel approach to storytelling, with a host of events for readers, writers, and word-lovers alike — right here in the Western Downs!
This year’s festival promises to be an unforgettable experience, featuring a diverse lineup of authors, engaging panel discussions, and exciting activities for all book lovers. Whether you’re looking to discover new authors, participate in workshops, or simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.
We’re making a few changes. It’s all part of the vision to keep our festival as exciting and inviting as possible for you.
Change of venue: Chinchilla, Qld! In 2025, Words Out West will be hosted at the Chinchilla Cultural Precinct, Chinchilla.
Extra Festival Day: Sunday 16 March! So many stories; so little time. We’ve added in an extra Festival Day, so you have more time to enjoy the festival (and we can squeeze in a bit more goodness!).
