Event description

Two years. Five states. 30 slaughterhouses.

Over 2023-2024, the Farm Transparency Project Team investigated 30 Australian slaughterhouses in the largest, most comprehensive investigation of animal slaughter facilities in the history of this country.

From blood soaked kill rooms to the depths of carbon dioxide gassing chambers, the team exposed widespread suffering, abuse and cruelty. Over the two years Farm Transparency Project publicly released hundreds of hours of footage and submitted dozens of formal complaints about blatant illegal activity and systemic animal abuse.

But many of the stories from these places have never been shared…

Join FTP for an exclusive screening of the first section of a new documentary film which will follow the team as they investigate and expose each brutal slaughterhouse, beginning with the three largest pig killing facilities in Victoria.

This is a work in progress screening, designed to give you a sneak peak at the development of the first feature length film to be produced by Farm Transparency Project since the groundbreaking Dominion Documentary (2018).
