Work that Reconnects Spring Study–Action Circle: Hospicing Modernity 🌼
Event description
Spring brings renewal—and the courage to ask big, honest questions. In this final Study–Action Circle of 2026, we explore Vanessa de Oliveira Andreotti’s Hospicing Modernity, guided by the principles of The Work That Reconnects.
Hosted by the NENA Systems Change Hub, and supported by the School of Social Impact and the Humanitarian Changemakers Network, this is a space for people committed to shifting deep systems and building the foundations of a new economy grounded in care, justice and regeneration.
We approach the text as a community: reflective, curious and willing to sit with complexity together.
What’s Inside
Thought-provoking dialogue about responsibility, power and systemic transition
Exercises that help us navigate uncertainty with humility and groundedness
Time to share insights, challenges and hopes with fellow changemakers 🔄
A cooperative learning space where no one has to hold the work alone
🗓 What to Expect from the Study-Action Circles
The Work That Reconnects (WTR) offers practical tools and reflective practices to help those working to transform our economic systems navigate complexity, build resilience, and sustain collective action. By combining deep reflection, experiential exercises, and group dialogue, WTR supports changemakers in facing ecological, social, and economic crises with clarity, courage, and connection—enhancing their ability to envision and co-create a more regenerative, equitable, and wellbeing-centred economy.
As we move through the seasons in 2026, we will:
📚 Read a selected text related to The Work That Reconnects
🌀 Gather for a LIVE online community circle to share reflections, deepen into experiential practices, and support each other’s projects and emotional resilience
🌱 Co-create a space where personal growth and systems change are nourished together as we work to change systems and build the New Economy movement
Who It’s For
People who care deeply about transformation—policy thinkers, community organisers, educators, researchers, practitioners, cooperative builders, activists and transition leaders.
