    Participants will explore the workforce challenges facing the allied health professionals they represent and develop targeted strategies to overcome these challenges. Join expert facilitator Dr Susan Nancarrow as she guides you through the process of reframing your allied health workforce challenges into workable solutions using a proven methodology which has been developed with, and adopted by, allied health workforce leaders nationally and internationally over the last 20 years.

     Workforce Planning Made Simple will lead you through a step-by-step approach to workforce planning, starting with understanding the current state of your organisation's workforce, identifying existing challenges, and projecting future needs and ideal outcomes. We will then guide you through the development of a workforce plan that aligns with your organisation's goals and objectives. Plus, you'll also receive ongoing monthly support check-ins post-workshop to ensure you're on track with your new workforce plan.

    11.30 pm Module 4: Co-production and governance for sustainable impact identifying the support network and structure you need to drive workforce change

    1.00 pm Module 5: Overview of the Easy PEASI program logic – a program logic approach to succinctly and clearly link your problems to actionable solutions 

    2.30 pm Module 6: Implementation strategy – Summarise your workforce plan into a manageable implementation strategy 

    3.00 pm Module 7: Bringing it all together – How to present and pitch your workforce plan to your key stakeholder audiences

    The workshop will be held at the Southern Cross University Gold Coast Campus which is located adjacent to the Gold Coast Airport. Free parking is available as per the map below.     Professor Susan Nancarrow, CEO HealthWork International & The Allied Health Academy 

    Susan is an allied health professional, health services researcher, recovering academic, and Director on the Board of the Allied Health Assistants' National Association (AHANA). Susan has more than twenty years' experience of international health services research, expertise and analysis, with a particular interest in the health workforce, models of health service organisation and delivery, and the sociology of the professions. She founded HealthWork International in 2021 to find new and innovative ways to shape the health workforce, to better meet the needs of 21st century health care.

    Meagan Kruger, Events Coordinator HealthWork International & The Allied Health Academy 

    Meagan brings over 25 years of experience in project management, events, office management, administration, research, and consultation across a diverse range of roles and industries. With a Bachelor of Business, Meagan is a critical thinker who applies evidence-based learnings to practical problem-solving. Most recently, Meagan’s work has been centred in regional economic development, managing a business mentorship program, supporting the growth and development of a regional women’s business network, and managing high-value local events across the Northern Rivers NSW footprint.
