Working Group | Mastering your Time
Event description
Join Us for our Working Group on Mastering your Time
Have you heard this before?
Q. How are you doing?
A. Aaaghhh. Flat out. No time. (Shakes head)
Parkinson's law, published in 1955 by the naval historian C. Northcote Parkinson states:
"work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion",
Our calendars can sometimes just fill up with ‘stuff’ making our workdays busy. But is that ‘stuff’ productive? And is this stuff helping us achieve the outcomes of our roles and our annual goals?
In this half day workshop, we will:
• Discuss the basics of effective time management
• Learn tools to purposefully populate your calendar efficiently
• Work through examples of how and when to use these tools
• Gauge your commitment to change (and that of your business)
• Discuss the reality of your calendar and time in your workplace
Outcomes
Attendees will leave this session with knowledge to:
• Improve their own time Management (and that of their teams)
• Apply effective tools to improve Calendar management
• Network with like-minded professionals
• Visit a local site and participate in a site tour
Come and ‘Eat the Frog’ and join Us for our working group on ‘Mastering your Time’ at a Brisbane venue to be announced shortly.
