Event description

Kelp Basket Weaving with SETAC Working on Country Rangers
Experience hands-on cultural knowledge with SETAC’s Working on Country Rangers. Nicole, Sally, and Zac will share stories of connection to Land and Sea, and the ways natural resources have long been gathered and used to make everyday items. You’ll be guided step by step in creating your own kelp basket and learning the traditional art of twining. This workshop is not only a chance to make something beautiful with your hands, but also to connect with deep traditions and living culture. Join us for a warm, welcoming session that celebrates knowledge-sharing, creativity, and connection to Country.
