Embracing Self-Construction: Considerations for Working with Children with Diverse Needs in the Montessori 6–12 Classroom

We know as Montessori practitioners that we are guides in the children’s self-construction. Oftentimes we are faced with children whose path of self-construction is not as we expect. In this three-hour workshop, we will discuss strategies for supporting each child on their individual journey, how to unfold Cosmic Education for children even as we help them with specific academic and other skills, and how to collaborate with caregivers to find and access other resources when needed.
