Working towards Proficient Teacher - All teachers

The session aims to develop teachers’ understanding of the requirements for Proficient Teacher accreditation and provide advice on achieving Proficient Teacher accreditation.

The session covers:

• the Australia Professional Standards for Teachers
• teaching as a professional continuum of career stages linked to accreditation
• understanding Standards-based teaching practice
• the journey to Proficient Teacher accreditation
• visible teaching practice and impact (for casual and short-term teaching roles)
• developing authentic evidence
• annotating evidence
• accreditation decisions.

The session is delivered online via Adobe Connect.
