Event description

New Working with Children Checks (WWCC) were introduced in 2019 by the Department of Human Services.

These checks are part of the volunteer onboarding process for many organisations throughout South Australia.

Join us for an informative session delivered by the Director and the Manager of the Screening Unit from the Department of Human Services to learn about:

  • When does a volunteer need a WWCC?
  • Who doesn’t need a WWCC?
  • Expiring checks and what action to take
  • Managing the WWCC renewal process
