Workplace Communication Skills
Event description
The Workplace Communication Skills program will run for 6 weeks with a two-hour session each week. These skills and insights focus on modern employment requirements and will become a valuable set of tools for any employee. These skills will also help you step out with confidence.
Topics covered in the Workplace Communication Skills program include:
- Telephone answering skills
- Workplace documents and forms
- Following instructions, problem-solving and decision making
- Asking questions, open and closed
- Workplace signage, and awareness of safe work practices
- Characteristics for effective team communications
- A can-do attitude
When:
Week 1 – Thursday, 02 June 2022, 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Week 2 – Thursday, 09 June 2022, 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Week 3 – Thursday, 16 June 2022, 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Week 4 – Thursday, 23 June 2022, 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Week 5 – Thursday, 30 June 2022, 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Week 6 – Thursday, 07 July 2022, 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Where: Another Life Coffee and Wares, 114 Bellevue Street, Toowoomba. The venue is accessible.
Catering: Afternoon tea will be provided
Parking: Free parking is available at the venue
