About the Training Facilitator
Claire Harrison, FCPHR
Claire Harrison is the Founder and Managing Director of Harrison Human Resources; a workplace relations consulting business started in 2009. Claire provides strategic and commercially astute advice to employers on all aspects of workplace legislation including: - workplace complaints, dispute resolution, investigations and mediation - termination of employment - managing ill and injured employees - modern award and fair work compliance - performance management - organisation restructures and redundancies - unfair dismissal and general protections proceedings Claire holds a Bachelor of Business - Business Administration (Distinction), Graduate Certificate in Applied Law, attended Columbia Business School, is a Nationally Accredited Media with the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, a Certified Fellow of AHRI, and has completed the AICD company directors’ course. With 30 years’ experience, Claire has worked as a HR Director of multi-national organisations, as a Non-Executive Board Director, and as a small business owner. Claire’s corporate career includes working with companies such as BHP, Westpac, Fonterra and Mayne Nickless. Claire’s last corporate position was as the National HR Manager of ABC Learning, which employed 15,000 people and Claire managed a team of 50 people across HR and payroll.

- What's included in the price?
Course training booklet will be provided in hard copy at the workshop. No soft copies will be provided.
- Who can attend?
This course is open to all organisations excluding other legal service providers, investigators and consultants deemed competitors.
Suited for: HR executives, HR Managers, Business Owners, People and Culture Managers, Directors, HR Business partners and anyone responsible for managing employees or dealing with workplace complaints.Please note this course is not available for law firm employees, HR or IR consultants or professional investigators and Harrisons has the right to cancel any ticket purchased.

- What's the refund policy?
Participants will receive a full refund if they cancel at least seven (7) business days prior to the scheduled event. However, if participants cancel less than seven (7) business days before the event, no refund will be made. The place can be transferred to another member of the paid organisation. No-shows or cancellations after 7 days will receive the course training material and supporting documents. If there are insufficient participants, we reserve the right to cancel the event and participants will be transferred to another module of equal value or receive a full refund at their election. We will give three business days’ notice of any such cancellation.
