Workshop - Finding more value from your crop
Description
You put a lot into what you grow. How can more of it add value to your farm?
End Food Waste Australia is working with Hort Innovation on a project to help growers improve farming profitability and reduce food losses.
We’re looking for farmers and growers to join a 90-minute online workshop and share what’s really happening on farm.
We want to hear about the challenges you face, where you go for advice you trust, and what practical information or tools would actually be useful to you.
Why take part?
Help shape resources around real grower needs
Have a say in what could help you get more value from what you grow and lose less of your crop.

More information about the project can be found here: endfoodwaste.com.au/horticulture
*The gift cards are only for grower participants to recognise taking the time out of their business to share their insights, only those who attend the workshop will receive the giftcard.
** We are looking for input across the breadth of horticultural production and so may need to limit/shuffle participants around from particular industries to allow for that broader input. If we need to reshuffle, we will offer the alternative workshop time if suitable and generally operate on a last in, first out principle. We are looking for commercial growers including small scale growers, so questions have been included during registration to help us understand your business. We reserve the right to verify participants suitability and cancel registrations where that is unable to be established.
This project is funded through Hort Innovation Frontiers with co-investment from End Food Waste Cooperative Research Centre, whose research activities are funded by the Australian Government's Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) program, Queensland Department of Primary Industries, South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI), the University of Queensland and contributions from the Australian Government.
