This is an interactive training designed for support workers who may work with someone who has an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).

This training is designed to provide you with a better understanding of Acquired Brain Injury and the impact it can have on an individual. This training will also provide some advice and suggestions on how someone with an ABI can be best supported.

This session has been designed as a small group training in order to facilitate as much interaction as possible, with a drop in Question and Answer session with a person with lived-experience of ABI during the training.

What is a Brain injury?
Common challenges someone may face after ABI
Tips to support
Lived experience of ABI, and
Key principles for working with people with ABI.
