Getting ready to sell tickets for your first show?

Considering a career in marketing for theatre?

Trying to sell tickets to your theatre show can be a daunting task. Whether it be for your dream Fringe run, your self-produced masterpiece or a small local production in your hometown - join this workshop for all the latest hints and tips for theatre marketing.

Tickets are pay-what-you-can from £5.

Morna Ross

Morna Ross is an early-career theatre maker & marketer in the Highlands. She has worked on productions such as A Giant on the Bridge, A Mother's Song: A New Folk Musical, her own local show The Fastest Town in Scotland, & is the Marketing Coordinator for Framework Theatre Company.

Welcome to ROOTS Festival 2024!

This year, we are thrilled to be bringing you a hybrid festival with online workshops, panels, and free-to-attend networking events, and a full day of in-person performances at the Inverness Creative Academy.

ROOTS Festival is a unique opportunity, delivering a full programme of events to celebrate and support theatre makers in the Highlands and to connect artists across the whole of Scotland.

Our programme of online and in-person events support emerging theatre-makers across the Highlands and Scotland to:
★ Develop new skills
★ Make new connections
★ And showcase their work

Vivid Roots Collective is a Highland theatre company and local charity inspiring artists to pursue theatre careers from the region; we create professional opportunities for and support the creative development of
local and emerging theatre-makers. By supporting a growing culture of professional theatre-making in the Highlands, we believe that we can contribute to tackling regional depopulation by improving the cultural offering of the area and creating more opportunities for local artists, championing the Highlands as a place to live and work.
