Microbiome Analysis in Population Studies
Research Workshop with Professor Lianmin Chen, Professor in Microbiome and Metabolism, Nanjing Medical University and UWA Institute of Advanced Studies Visiting Fellow.
In this workshop, Professor Chen will discuss methods to manage and analyse large databases. Participants are encouraged to discuss their research within the framework of the stated topic. This workshop is designed for researchers in Medicine, Human Sciences and Agriculture.
Professor Lianmin Chen is Principal investigator at Nanjing Medical University, focusing on the role of the gut microbiome in cardiometabolic disorders. Professor Chen was awarded a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Groningen (Netherlands) in 2021. He is a UWA Institute of Advanced Studies Visiting Fellow, working with Associate Professor Dominique Blache in the UWA School of Agriculture and Environment and Professor Jennifer Rodger in the UWA School of Biological Sciences.
