Workshop | Mindful Clay| Winter Reflections with Fran Romano

Let go, nourish your soul and have fun making by hand in this reflective clay workshop with local

ceramicist, Fran Romano.

Fran will first lead you through a simple meditation exercise using the clay, followed by a guided

making session. You will make ephemeral Thought Vessels, containers for dreams and wishes, to be

released as you are ready. No clay experience necessary.

Artist Bio:

Fran Romano is a Canberra-based ceramist. Since completing her studies at the ANU School of Art in

mid-2013, she has developed both a production business and her art practice.

Fran has exhibited regularly in group shows in Canberra, nationally and internationally. Her work is

inspired by memory, history and nostalgia investigated through layering and experimenting with

surface texture and photographic imagery.
