Workshop for participants: Service agreements – what am I signing?

Service agreements are a contract you sign with an NDIS provider about the housing or support (or other services) they are going to provide for you. How do you make sure that a service agreement is going to work for you? 

The Housing Hub and the Summer Foundation have worked with people with disability, supporters and providers to create a great new set of tools. These tools aim to help people living in supported accommodation to understand their rights, make complaints, and raise issues with NDIS providers. This free workshop will show you and the people that support you how to use these new tools about service agreements.

Join us to learn about:

• A guide that explains how service agreements work, and how you can make sure that what is important to you is included in your service agreement

• A handy tool to guide your conversations with providers

• An NDIS Glossary, that explains all the words people use when talking about housing and support for people with disability

• Join the Housing Hub team, after the workshop to ask questions about the resources for NDIS housing problems.

Access:

• Choose a date under the 'Get Tickets' section

• Please tell us your access needs when you register

• We use Zoom for our online sessions

• You will need a computer, tablet or smartphone that has an internet connection

• You do not need Zoom on your computer. You can copy a link into your internet browser (eg Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
