“Getting more from your Photography”

Aim: 

To share ideas and knowledge about photography with enthusiastic participants. 

To share an understanding of camera functions and photography basics.

To share knowledge and techniques of photography.

The workshops are aimed at getting participants to advance their knowledge of how to use their cameras and ‘take them off auto’.

Duration:

Sunday Nov 17 10:00am – 4:00pm (1 hour lunch break included)

Cost $100

Sessions will involve practical work with sharing. Photo hint sheets provided.

Participants require a camera, SD or CF card.

Tutor will provide a laptop for viewing and discussion, plus a card reader & HDMI cable for viewing on the Art House monitor.

Participants may bring their own laptops.

Content:

- Basic Camera operation- Exposure – f-stop, shutter speed, ISO - Manual and presets (theory and practical)- Depth of Field - (theory and practical)- Composition - (theory and practical)

For each content topic we will undertake practical work in the field, then regroup to view results and discuss.
