Workshop: Who is responsible for what in my NDIS Housing?
Event description
When you have a problem in your home, who do you need to ask to get it fixed? And what do you do if they’re not listening to you?
The Housing Hub and the Summer Foundation have worked with people with disability, supporters and providers to create a great new set of tools. These tools aim to help people living in supported accommodation to understand their rights, make complaints, and raise issues with NDIS providers. This free workshop will show you how to use these new tools that are about roles and responsibilities – in other words, who does what.
Join us to learn about:
- A handy template for you to use to keep track of who is responsible for what in your home
- A step-by-step chart that shows you what to do next if someone isn’t taking your problem seriously
- A ‘Knowledge Builder’, that assists you to build your knowledge when it comes to roles and responsibilities in NDIS housing
- How a positive culture makes it easier to give/receive feedback and get problems solved
