Writing using the Story Workshop Method - Friday

Kinchem has presented this invaluable workshop internationally. The Story Workshop method is based on oral story-telling and is designed to cultivate a story-state-of-mind in a small group setting. It is a generative writing process that focuses on hearing your own individual voice in a fun, interactive, and challenging session. The Story Workshop method develops your reading, writing, listening, speaking, critical thinking and imaginative problem-solving capacities.

Kinchem learned this method of generative writing while studying with Story Workshop founder, John Schultz for her Masters in Fiction Writing at Columba College in Chicago. She then trained with John’s son Shawn Shiflet in 2019 and has run the workshops in Australia and internationally to writers, writing teachers and award winning authors.
