Workshopping With is our latest virtual programming series, led by artists and educators on a variety of topics. Board members Kristi Zevenbergen, Kay Stauffer,    Maru Lopez, Michael Brehl, Jessica Andersen, and Sarah Darro will lead Session 2.


Make Yourself a Blowhorn Stake

Wed, Oct. 9th, 6 p.m.  ET

Watch and discuss the construction of a blowhorn stake in a small silversmithing studio with Michael Brehl. Brehl will cover forging the horn and stem, welding, finishing, and the necessary tools and supplies. 

Instructor Bio: 

Michael Brehl has been a metalsmith for over forty years. He teaches hollowware and jewelry at the Art League in Alexandria, VA and makes his own stakes in his silversmithing studio in Mount Rainier, MD.
