World AIDS Day - Red Ribbon morning tea

December 1st marks World AIDS Day - a chance to raise awareness in the community about the contemporary issues surrounding HIV. We have come a long way, but HIV is not over. Now is the perfect chance to show your support and remind others that HIV Still Matters.
Thorne Harbour Country invite you to join us on 25 November for a morning tea to prepare red ribbons for the World AIDS Day street appeal and hear stories by people living with HIV about why HIV Still Matters:
The red ribbon has been a symbol of awareness and support for people living with HIV for more than 30 years. Wearing red ribbons shows support for people living with HIV and honours the lives lost over the past 40 years. You can wear your ribbon on or in the lead up to World AIDS Day. Of course, you can wear it anytime you want to raise awareness of HIV and show support for people living with it.
Come and join in community connection, morning tea, and make a red ribbon:
