Take a Stand Against Factory Farming: Join our Global Day of Action!

Join the Stop Financing Factory Farming campaign and partners across the globe for a Global Day of Action on Thursday, April 24, 2025!

On April 24th, during the World Bank annual meetings, S3F members and partners will host actions around the world to deliver a powerful message to the World Bank Group. From organizing teach-ins and delivering our public letter to a World Bank Group or Finance Minister office to hosting a photo action at a local landmark, allies across the globe are demanding an end to factory farm finance.

Since Washington DC is the World Bank Group’s global headquarters, we are uniquely positioned to make our voices heard. Please join us for the Global Day of Action event in DC!

When:  Thursday, April 24, 2025, 12-1pm

Where: The World Bank headquarters visitors entrance at 752 18th St NW. Washington, DC

What: We will deliver a public letter signed by 200+ civil society organizations and a large invoice to the World Bank Group, highlighting the true cost of the billions they invested in factory farming over the years – climate change, deforestation, biodiversity loss, public health crises, community displacement, food insecurity and animal suffering.

Why: The World Bank cannot fulfill its mission to “end poverty on a livable planet” while continuing to use taxpayer dollars to fund the expansion of industrial animal agriculture.
