World Migratory Bird Day
Event description
Join us on Saturday, May 10, 2025, for a guided wetland walk to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day. In collaboration with Friends of Mason Park Wetland (FOMPW), experienced FOMPW guides will highlight the rich diversity of waterbirds and inter-continental migratory shorebirds found at the wetlands and how the wetland habitat supports them and much more.
You will also have the opportunity to participate and learn the skills to conduct a bird survey at the wetlands if you join the guides for the early morning session.
Registration is essential as spots are limited.
Date: Saturday, May 10, 2025
Where: Mason Park Wetlands
Time: 7am - 8am (Bird Survey)
