Event description

The Noisy Voices Choir is bringing our first ever World Music Day celebration to ABERMAIN!

3:30pm : Join us out the front of Qirkz in the Hunter as we recreate a historic photograph taken in front of the same building over 100 years ago. Be part of a moment that connects past and present!

4:30pm The Choir will sing a few songs out the front of the building in a pop up sing along to Celebrate World Music Day

5:00 - 7:00pm Qirkz in the Hunter will be open for drinks and meals and will have some of our favourite songs with lyrics playing on the big screens.

Let's support the venue that supports our choir: bring the family for a meal and a sing along!

++++ on the same evening Local singer John Parker will take to the stage for an unmissable concert of of Aussie favourites, well-loved originals, and a special visit from “The Lovechild” - John’s tribute to the legendary Chad Morgan!https://www.stickytickets.com.au/12c90/john_parker_in_concert.aspx

About world music day: "The Fête de la Musique, also known in English as Music Day, Make Music Day, or World Music Day, is an annual music celebration that takes place on 21 June. On Music Day, citizens and residents are urged to play music outside in their neighbourhoods or in public spaces and parks. Free concerts are also organized, where musicians play for fun and not for payment."https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F%C3%AAte_de_la_Musique
