World Sickle Cell Day 2025 Melbourne
Event description
World Sickle Cell Day – 19 June
World Sickle Cell Day is observed globally on 19 June each year. In Australia, the Australian Sickle Cell Advocacy Inc. (ASCA), a national sickle cell organisation, will be hosting a series of events and initiatives to engage with various communities across the country.
As part of our awareness efforts, we will be hosting morning teas at several treatment hospitals, as well as our annual food festival to connect with and support those impacted by sickle cell disease.
