Global Citizen and WaterAid Australia are delighted to invite you to join a special virtual event to honour World Toilet Day 2020!
Toilets save lives, because human waste spreads killer diseases. World Toilet Day is about inspiring action to tackle the global sanitation crisis and that's just what we will do in this virtual event we'd love you to join us for!
Our Asia Pacific neighbours suffer from some of the lowest rates of access to not only clean water, but adequate sanitation infrastructure. Alongside our partners, we're on a mission to change that by asking the Australian Government to set out a vision and a plan to address all aspects of Sustainable Development Goal 6: Access to Clean Water & Sanitation for All.
We will be hearing from experts, partners, fundraisers and those on the front lines working to ensure our neighbours' futures are not threatened by issues we solved a long time ago - such as access to working toilets.
Speakers:
Rosie Wheen, Chief Executive, WaterAid Australia
Sarah Meredith, Australia Country Director, Global Citizen
Tyler Kozole, Innovation & Partnerships Manager, iDE Global Cambodia
Lynn Foden, CEO, Thrive Networks Vietnam
Facilitator: Maddie Keck, Digital Campaigner, Global Citizen Australia
