    World Vegan Day - Melbourne Charity Dinner and November Challenge Launch 

    November 1st is World Vegan Day and Melbourne is well known for celebrating this cruelty-free occasion in style! 

    You are invited to join charity organisations Vegan Easy (by Animal Liberation Victoria) and Vegan Australia for an evening of community connection, plant-powered dining, special guest speakers and a screening of the SBS Food hit TV show ‘Eating Plants’. It’s all happening at Melbourne’s newest 100% vegan restaurant, Vegie Tribe.

    DATE:
     Tuesday 1 November 2022.

    TIME:
    5.30pm arrival for 6pm commencement of dining and presentations. (8.30pm: Eating Plants screening). Event concludes by 9pm.

    VENUE:
     Vegie Tribe, 34-36 Little La Trobe St, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

    TICKET INCLUDES:

    • All-you-can-eat 100% vegan buffet (savoury hot meals, salads, 1 x dessert and 1 x non-alcoholic drink). Gluten-free, nut-free, oil-free, garlic and onion-free options available.
    • Further desserts (treats such as raw cakes, and artisan ice-cream scoops by Tullyz Kitchen), and drinks (range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic wine, spirits, juices, kombucha etc) for optional additional purchase.

    •  Presentations by Dr Ash Nayate (neuropsychologist and author), Julia Jones (clinical nutritionist), Nadia Fragnito (cookbook author and TV presenter), Jessica Wright (animal sanctuary coordinator), and Dean Maher (mountaineer and ultra-runner).
    •  Q&A session with Vegan Easy mentors and special guest panelists Tully of Tully’z Kitchen and Dr Robert Gropel of Vegan Seven Summits and Ivanhoe East Veterinary Hospital.
    • Screening of Eating Plants Australia TV episode (from the award-winning documentary filmmakers of ‘Kangaroo’)
    • A friendly and welcoming atmosphere (and a chance to dress up a bit if you feel inspired to continue the ‘Nup to the Cup’ fashion celebrations!)
