Event description

A hands on educational session for health professionals 

Outcomes for this workshop includes:

  • INTRODUCTION TO ACUTE WOUND MANAGEMENT
  • SUTURING SKILLS
  • CLINICAL APPROACH TO WOUND TYPES AND CHOICE OF WOUND DRESSING
  • CASE BASED DISCUSSIONS

This program is suitable for ALL staff who work in the Emergency Care Setting.  Particularly Medical Staff, RMO's/JMO's, EMC/EMD/EMAD, Associateship in Emergency Medicine - Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced, Nurses, GPs, Paramedics, and Medical and Nursing Students

A light lunch will be provided.

Places are limited and priority will be given to individuals who provide Emergency Care in the Limestone Coast Local Health Network.
