Join textile artist and Tyger Gallery Manager Sally Rasmussen for a hands-on, meditative workshop exploring natural materials, slow stitching and sculptural form.
This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from one of Tyger’s most sought-after artists, whose beautiful copper-wired textile works are created from raffia, grasses and found fibres - and collected by admirers across the region.

✨ Creating sculptural form with reclaimed wire
✨ Texture, rhythm and natural fibre
✨ Expressing your connection with nature through tactile materials
This is a calming, reflective creative experience - perfect for anyone interested in fibre art, mindful making, or learning new artistic techniques grounded in natural materials. No previous experience is necessary - Sally will take you through all the steps to create something beautiful.
🪴 What’s provided:
All materials are supplied, including natural fibres and wire.
🌾 What to expect:
You’ll leave with your own one-of-a-kind artisan fibre piece - and the inspiration and skills to continue exploring this beautiful practice at home.
