Wreaths in the Woods: Crafting & Conversation
Event description
Hosted by Kia & Juliet
Join us in the heart of our beautiful natural setting for an enriching experience that goes beyond crafting. This workshop is about connection — connection to nature, creativity, and each other. You'll get the opportunity to explore the forest, forage for your own unique treasures, and create a wreath that reflects your individual experience.
We’ll provide the wreath rings, some warm, spiced apple juice to sip, and a cosy fire to gather around as we chat and share stories. It’s the perfect opportunity to slow down, embrace the changing season, and enjoy the simple pleasure of mindful, conscious conversation.
Whether you're new to wreath-making or an experienced crafter, this gathering is about enjoying the moment and creating something special in the company of others.
Please bring
Trowel (to dig moss)
Fingerless gloves for warmth whilst making, and / or garden gloves for full protection when foraging.
Scissors
Pliers (only if you have already, as we will provide some)
Secateurs
A bag or basket to collect and carry foraged items
You may wish to spend the time between now and then collecting some bits to add to your wreath. Drying herbs or flowers, for example.
Kia & Juliet
Kia guides people to connect with their spirit, unlock their potential, and create from the heart. She is an abstract artist and keynote speaker dedicated to helping individuals step fully into their personal power. With a unique blend of storytelling and energising encouragement, Kia inspires audiences to let their inner voice lead and trust their path. A passionate advocate for self-discovery and transformation, Kia draws on her own journey to show how strengthening your intuition can lead to powerful breakthroughs. Her approach deeply resonates with those seeking clarity, confidence, and courage to align with their soul purpose. In addition to her speaking and coaching, Kia teaches a weekly live intuitive painting class, which was featured in Metro Newspapers' Big Happiness Interview. She also hosts the self-help book club Untold Happiness, inspiring creative spiritual seekers to grow and thrive.
Juliet leads with presence. With stillness. With the kind of listening that makes people say things they didn’t know they needed to say. As a hypnotherapist, ritual facilitator, and lifelong student of human connection, she creates spaces where masks fall away and truth finds its way to the surface. Whether it's through fire, silence, story or breath - Juliet holds a circle in a way that feels both deeply ancient and unmistakably alive. If something in you is ready to shift, she’s someone you want beside you when it does.
Juliet is a qualified clinical hypnotherapist with almost 20 years of experience supporting people through life’s thresholds - change, addiction, anxiety, and awakening. She’s trained in spiritual leadership, fire walking facilitation, authentic relating, and embodied group process, with a deep understanding of the nervous system and how ritual helps regulate and restore. Her work brings together her MSc in Spirituality, Transpersonal Psychology and Consciousness with her therapeutic skills, ancestral wisdom, and quiet confidence that invites others to access their own. The Burrow
The Burrow started in April 2024 as a space for people to come together to heal, transform, connect and celebrate. The Burrow is a space where people reconnect with nature, each other, and themselves through self-inquiry and meaningful connection.
Most of our events have holistic wellbeing in mind, all guided by skilled facilitators. We have CIC status, which is designed for businesses that aim to benefit the community, rather than private shareholders. CICs are a form of social enterprise, where profits are generally reinvested into the community or used to support the company’s social mission. In time, we hope to get funding to improve the facilities, which will make some events easier during the rainier months. Every ticket you purchase gets us a little closer to our bigger plans.
If you’d prefer to keep off socials, the best way to get information is to “follow” The Burrow on here to be notified of any new events. We also have a website http://theburrowfarnham.co.uk .
