About the facilitators
Tracey O’Callaghan "The Queen of Sass" is visiting the Northern Rivers on tour with Poets Out Loud. She has performed in five SA slam finals, on stages in Dublin, at Sydney Opera House and as a guest for “Hear me Roar” at Adelaide Writers Week. With passion, zeal and energy, she is a firebrand that will hold you transfixed. Tracey self-published her first book “Brains Balls & Banter" and created a one-woman show of the same name.
Sarah Temporal is a prize-winning poet, educator, and arts producer residing in the Northern Rivers NSW. Ever since live poetry allowed her to find a voice as a shy nineteen-year-old, she has been fascinated with the power of poetry to reveal our hidden selves. With a background in education, she has taught poetry to hundreds of people from ages 8 to 89, delivering workshops for Byron Writers Festival, Red Room Poetry, Australian Poetry Slam and more. She runs the annual Poets Out Loud Youth Slam to empower regional young voices.
