Write the Good Fight LIVE

Rise Literary is taking its writing off the page with the launch of Write the Good Fight, an impactful new podcast exploring the power of storytelling in disrupting the status quo, enacting real change, and sharing how the craft of writing can change the cultural conversation. The podcast will feature the fiercest minds in literature, publishing, and the creative arts to explore how and why they fight the good fight, through their words and the storytelling they support. 

To celebrate the launch of the podcast, Rise Literary will host a special Write the Good Fight live event** on Monday, June 2nd, at the newly restored Ojai Playhouse. In a rare gathering of minds, the team will record live interviews with:

• Gertrude Lyons, author of Rewrite the Mother Code

• Kristen McGuiness, LA Times bestselling author and book publisher

• Rob Bell, New York Times bestselling author and creative provocateur

Proceeds from the event will benefit Meiners Oaks Park, a nature-focused park in Ojai that offers safe, accessible play for children and a place for the community to meet and enjoy. Doors close at 6:30pm. No late entry.

Write the Good Fight invites listeners into deep, real conversations about the creative journey: what drives people to write, how they endure the challenges of creation, and what it means to tell the truth in a world that often resists it.
