Writing a meaningful Acknowledgement of Country

Price FREE Get tickets

Event description

Together we will journey through how to create an authentic and respectful acknowledgement in context to your own connection to place and people.

It’s 2024 let’s move from the housekeeping generic acknowledgment of country script. This approach has become tokenistic and repetitive, which makes us completely forget what this is meant to represent.

This 1 hour interactive workshop will cover the following steps and you will walk away with:
- A structure to create and deliver your own Acknowledgment of Country which can be changed given the audience you are speaking in front of.
- The understanding of how to create one that is meaningful and heartfelt.
- Relearn the true meaning of an Acknowledgment breaking it down into sections that are easier to understand.
