Writing to be Heard (Poetry Workshop)
Event description
Writing Workshop: Writing To Be Heard
Most of us hope that our words will be received by a reader or audience with impact and intention. That our poetry will convey the rhythms of our heart, the music we hear in the inner ear.
This workshop takes participants through a series of discussions and exercises on how to:
write for the “ear”,
use rhythm and sound to enhance meaning;
and edit with the reader / audience in mind.
