This 12-week course is delivered in 10 x 2-hour online sessions.

The course is presented is in 2 parts:

Part 1 - Foundations - Weeks 1 and 2

4 x 2-hour classes (2 classes per week Tuesday / Thursday)

The foundations consist of:

1. Language foundations for clear definitions
   
2. The parts of a structured definition
3. Introduction to the Intralign Definition Standard
4. Researching and analysing existing definitions
5. Writing a structured definition

Part 2 - Studios - Weeks 3 to 12

Practical application of the Intralign Definition Standard over 5 x 2-hour studios, 1 studio each two-week period.

1 x 2-hour final review session.

The studios cover:

1. Real-time demonstration of foundational principles in practice
   
2. Homework from studios, to be submitted, reviewed and assessed in the next studio
3. Business client examples of definitions to analyse and improve
4. Small group activities in definition analysis and writing to build collaboration skills
5. Q & A time and mentoring support

All students also receive:

• a six month licence to use the Intralign Definition Writing platform (used in the course) valued at $520
• with access to support from our experienced facilitators valued at $1200
• an individual licensed copy of the Intralign Definition Writing Standard (2021) valued at $500
