Writing for impact: Engaging in civic discourse

Join the Raise Our Voice Australia team as we uncover the power of your voice in our upcoming workshop. This session will equip you with the skills and confidence to effectively engage with the Australian Government and elected politicians through written submissions.

Through hands-on activities, expert guidance, and peer feedback, you will develop the tools needed to advocate for change.

In this workshop we will:

• Gain insights into the submission process and how to ensure your voice is heard.
  
• Learn the fundamentals of crafting persuasive and impactful written submissions.
• Explore strategies for effectively communicating your views and influencing decision making.

This workshop is for young women and gender diverse people aged 16-32.

Raise Our Voice Australia is a non-partisan social enterprise mobilising young women and gender diverse people to transform policy and politics. The cost of your ticket goes towards upskilling more young women and gender-diverse people to transform policy and politics through training and our Raise Our Voice in Parliament program, supports us to run research to centre the voices of young women and gender-diverse people in policy discussions, and supports our community engagement activities to connect young women and gender-diverse people across the country to mobilise for change.
