Join us for an evening of readings by two of Australia’s leading writers, Anna Funder and Nam Le, hosted by the J.M. Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice at Adelaide University. All are welcome.
Anna Funder is the author of Wifedom: Mrs Orwell’s Invisible Life (2023; Prix du Meilleur Livre Étranger), the novel All That I Am (2012; winner of the Miles Franklin Literary Award), and the groundbreaking Stasiland (2003; Samuel Johnson Prize). She is Professor of Practice in Creative Writing at the University of Sydney.
Nam Le is the author of multi-award-winning short story collection The Boat (2008; Dylan Thomas Prize; NSW’s Premier’s Literary Awards Book of the Year; Prime Minister’s Literary Award in Fiction) and the poetry collection 36 Ways of Writing a Vietnamese Poem (2024: NSW’s Premier’s Literary Awards Book of the Year). He is an affiliate member of the J.M. Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice.
