Event description

Once Stage Four and Stage Three restrictions are relaxed, many of us will be desperately keen to immerse ourselves in natural environments outside Melbourne.

Perhaps you have enjoyed walking in your neighbourhood but would like to stretch your horizons?

If you have been unsure where to start and how to prepare for bushwalking, this class is for you!

While many dollars can be spent on gearing up for bushwalking, it need not be an expensive pastime and can provide years of enjoyment for all ages.

What will we cover?

  • How to identify suitable walks to start and expand your bushwalking repertoire
  • What equipment you need to purchase or borrow to have a safe and enjoyable hike
  • Introduction to bushwalking clubs
