Event description

Gather with us for a writing workshop facilitated by Lamisse Hamouda, where you will be guided in writing through memory with ancestors. This workshop offers portals to explore inheritances carried in our bodies, and our memories. This gathering is for those who are in the global majority - cultures that have endured colonialism and imperialism yet continue to facilitate futures with interconnected solidarity.

Please bring a pen and your favourite notebook. This is open to all holders of memory, so you do not need to be a writer to join and you will not need to share anything you write.

We will close with a short sonic outro from Nafas.

This gathering is made possible with support from Dukkana <3 and through CultureLAB residency support from Arts House.
