Description

This writing workshop series is being led by Professor Melissa Nursey-Bray in collaboration with NEST - the Network for Emerging Sustainability Thinkers, Environment Institute. NEST connects and empowers higher-degree and early-career researchers, providing specialised training, interactive seminars, and hands-on events.

Our aim for this workshop series is to provide targeted research training in academic writing for researchers across diverse disciplines (ABLE, HMS and SET faculties) within environmental science, biodiversity, and sustainability, fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration and learning.

HDRs can earn 2 CaRST credits (GRIT)/ per session in Shaping the future.

This workshop is a hands-on program that offers personalised guidance and practical writing strategies, with a focus on supporting your long-term growth in sustainability and biodiversity research. The 4 sessions are of an interactive nature.

To ensure that the workshops meet the specific needs of participants, we invite interested researchers to submit a brief (200-word) summary outlining how the workshop will support their research and academic development.

Please send your 200-word summary to environment@adelaide.edu.au and include the number of years you're at into your HDR program (eg. year 2 of 3).
We look forward to receiving your applications!

Registrations close on the 24th of July.
