Water Sensitive Urban Design Whole of Asset Lifecycle 2-day Training | Hervey Bay

Healthy Land & Water's Water by Design program invites government and industry stakeholders to Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) Whole of Asset Lifecycle Training in Hervey Bay.
This FREE two-day training, delivered by leading Water Sensitive Urban Design expert Shaun Leinster, will cover the key principles of WSUD asset planning, design, construction, handover, and maintenance.
This training is intended for practitioners who are involved in any part of the WSUD lifecycle and aims to improve knowledge, communication, and coordination across professions and departments, and ultimately improve WSUD outcomes across the region. The training will consist of an in-class component and a field day.
The first day of this two-day course will include presentations and discussions on:
Policy, guidance and submission requirements.
WSUD design and considerations. WSUD construction and handover.
WSUD maintenance/renewal.
Opportunity for attendees to discuss and share examples of asset issues and learnings.
The second day will involve a site visit to observe examples of WSUD assets.
