About Innovate to Regenerate

WWF-Australia will deploy $2 million in seed funding to help the best ideas get the support they need through the Innovate to Regenerate Challenge. Inspired by the evocative vision of Australia laid out in the ‘Regenerating Australia’ film, we are supporting solutions that can reverse environmental damage and create a positive impact for people and the planet.

The Challenge supports and tests ideas at all stages of development. Solutions must deliver benefits to Australian communities and prioritise community participation. We’re especially interested in solutions that are community-led and solutions that integrate and support Indigenous-led knowledge.

The Challenge is hosted on Impactio, WWF-Australia's purpose-built platform that brings together project leaders, subject-matter experts and funders to collaborate, fund, and implement high-impact projects. It offers a new approach to project incubation, selection, and funding. It enables effective conversations between subject matter experts and project leaders, while leveraging the latest technologies to increase trust through transparency.
