Green Iron & Steel - Accenture Japan report launch and insights on latest trip to Korea and Japan

Japan and Korea's steel sector are both at a critical juncture in their decarbonisation journey. Nicole Wyche, WWF-Australia's Industry Decarbonisation Manager (Steel) will share insights from a recent trip to Korea and Japan and launch the Accenture-Japan Green Steel Demand report highlighting both the progress made under the Japanese Government’s Green Transformation (GX) policy and the persistent barriers to scaling up low-emissions “green steel” industry. We will discussion recommendations to accelerate the transition towards a credible green iron and steel market.
