Wyndham Creatives catch-up
Event description
Wyndham Arts & Culture are hosting an end-of-year catch-up for Wyndham creatives!
Join us and hear from the Artists-in-Residence of our inaugural Create [SPACE] program. Artists Mita Choudhury, Nicole Hawke and Jess Fairfax will talk about their experiences and share an art bite-size piece. A great opportunity to hear about the artists and connect with the vibrant Wyndham creative community.
The Create [SPACE] program partners artists with Wyndham venues in temporary spaces to develop existing or new work, experiment and expand on their practice.
Create [SPACE] artists include Mita Choudhury who is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher (Dianella Community Centre.) Nicole Hawke is a poet and writer (Featherbrook Community Centre.) Jess Fairfax is a sound artist and producer (Point Cook Library.)
RSVPs essential for catering purposes.
Entry is free. All welcome including family and friends.
We hope you can join us!

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians
Wyndham City Council recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first Peoples of Australia. We acknowledge the Bunurong and Wadawurrung Peoples as Traditional Owners of the lands on which Wyndham City operates. The Wadawurrung and Bunurong Peoples have and always will belong to the Werribee Yalook (river), creeks, stars, hills and red clay of this Country. We pay respect to their Ancestors and Elders who always have, and always will, care for Country and community today and for future generations.
