Film Screening: Palestine Under Siege
Event description
Join us for a screening of Palestine Under Siege, a documentary that sheds light on the Palestinian people’s struggle against Israeli settler-colonialism and apartheid. Filmed on location in the West Bank, Jerusalem and Lebanon in 2023, it features Palestinian student activist Rand Darwish, former Greens senator Lee Rhiannon, and anti-zionist Jewish academic Dr Peter Slezak.
The film highlights the vital role of international solidarity in the Palestinian fight for justice and self-determination. Their plea is simple yet profound: “Please take word of our struggle to the world.”
Our screening will begin with an opportunity to connect with Wyndham locals and neighbours, concluding with reflections and conversation with guest speakers.
