Join us at our Wyong Vertical Village Open Day to tour the Village, meet the team and learn more about our approach to Supported Independent Living (SIL).
At Wyong, members have their own self-contained apartment, with their own front door, kitchen and bathroom. Support is shaped around each person’s individual NDIS plan and Roster of Care, with the opportunity to be part of a connected community.
What to expect
Tour the Village and explore the apartments
Learn how the Vertical Village model works in practice and who it may suit
Hear from Sarah Kelly, Occupational Therapist, on changes in SIL practice and compliance expectations, and how we’re applying them within our Vertical Village model
Meet the United for Care team, ask questions and connect with other professionals over lunch
Who should attend
Support coordinators, occupational therapists, allied health clinicians and disability professionals are encouraged to attend.
Families and carers are also welcome.
On the day
Doors open at 10:30am with refreshments and Village tours.
Our short presentation program begins at 11am, followed by questions, lunch and further tours.
Whether you’re supporting someone exploring SIL now or simply want to better understand SIL options on the Central Coast, we’d love to welcome you.
