Xylella awareness and preparedness workshop - Pokolbin NSW
Event description
You are invited to attend a Xylella awareness and preparedness workshop being run by NSW DPIRD. Xylella is the number one plant disease threat to Australian horticulture and is a key focus for our preparedness team.
The day will provide education and awareness from NSW DPIRD experts on Xylella, how it is most likely to arrive in the country and the complexities that would come with managing an incursion.
Different scenarios will be put forward for discussion and industry input would be greatly appreciated to help guide the process of developing a NSW Xylella response strategy. Your insights will be instrumental in assisting us with the creation of future Xylella community awareness campaigns, and a communications strategy that can be utilised in the event of an incursion.
We want to work with key stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of what a Xylella incursion may mean to your industry and work together to create a strong platform for managing a potential response.
An agenda will be sent out closer to the day.
Travel and time will be at your own cost.
Catering will be provided. (Please advise if you have any dietary needs).
