Y Café: Repair it!
Description
A hands-on repair café session for young people to build confidence fixing everyday items. Bring something to repair and learn how to assess issues, explore fixes, and understand when something can or can’t be repaired. You’ll also discover how reusing or repurposing items can save money and reduce waste.
Participants are welcome to stay on for the Parks Repair Café afterwards for extra support from skilled volunteers.
This workshop is part of PAE Youth Life Ready: Real Skills for Real Life
Life Ready is a series of workshops that empowers young people with the practical, hands-on skills needed to live independently, navigate adulthood with confidence, and thrive in the real world. Designed for ages 15-25, the program bridges the gap between formal education and real-life responsibilities.
